Should punishment mainly be rehabilitative, deterrence, or incapacitate?

Would you prioritize laws which would rehabilitate offenders, deter potential offenders by instilling fear in them, or keep offenders from being able to commit new crimes by keeping them imprisoned?

Are you in favor of a FL State Auto Inspection program?

An annual car state inspection will increase road safety, lower insurance cost, and increase revenue for auto mechanics and body shops. Let FL join other states that have implemented it successfully.

Guns can easily be legally purchased and then illegally resold. A comprehensive database can be used to target citizens who purchase an abnormally large number of guns and require them to present each

Would you support requiring gun owners to carry insurance?

Gun owners should be required to carry insurance !!!! Insurance wasn't required at first for car owners, but when it was found that cars could injure and kill, insurance was required.

How will you as FL Senator impact the people incarcerated for nonviolent crimes?

Florida has about 50,000 less people in jail than Mexico. 40 percent prison population is incarcerated for nonviolent crimes, and drug offenders accounted for 20 percent of Florida’s prison population

How are gun mfg's liable for non-defect related gun deaths?

Absent mfg defects and when used properly, guns are no more dangerous than, for example, cars. Therefore, gun mfg's should only be liable for deaths resulting from defects, not misuse.
