A means-tested fund could be established whereby mortgages in default could be bought, the title held by the fund, and that equity bought from the fund by the mortgagee paying what (s)he can afford.

With the real cost of living increases running at more than 10-20% per year, a better method of calculating actual COLA is badly needed. In addition, a "catch up" increase must also be paid out.

As a senior, I live on Social Security. Every year my rent goes up, even when my check remains the same. Is there no break for the elderly?

Isolated incidents of police misconduct and national incidents of criminals claiming misconduct have polarized the issue. How can that polarization be neutralized.
