What would you propose to address the backlog of veterans disability claims?

Many disabled veterans are waiting for years to receive benefits, losing everything they and their families have while waiting for approval. What should be done to alleviate the backlog?

A means-tested fund could be established whereby mortgages in default could be bought, the title held by the fund, and that equity bought from the fund by the mortgagee paying what (s)he can afford.

Do you support a more accurate method of calculating social security increases?

With the real cost of living increases running at more than 10-20% per year, a better method of calculating actual COLA is badly needed. In addition, a "catch up" increase must also be paid out.

Tomorrow, the Orange Co. California Registry of Child Abuse will receive 120 reports of child abuse. That's 120 too many in just one county of just one state.
