Politicians all serve the dollar (re: lobbyists, big corporate, donor ideals) so what's the point of red VS blue? Same thing as night & day, good vs bad, right & wrong? Seriously.. wth?

By giving a small tax break to all that vote, you would likely have a much higher turnout. Look at Australia for instance, they utilize this method, and have one of the highest voter turn out rates.

Should there be an independent government agency to fact check statements by officials on the congressional record? Corrections could be read into the recordat the start of the Congressional day.
