Should standardized testing be used in schools & for a teacher's evaluation?

It has been documented that standardized testing stresses students, parents opt their kids out, Pearson has given tests with errors, teachers evaluations and salaries are linked to these useless tests

Make Congress hold open votes on each measure, instead of Omnibus bills?

At present, horrible measures are voted on late at night, on Fridays and holidays, or buried in omnibus Bills. (The Patriot Act is one of the most egregious)
