Do you think the IRS should issue an itemized receipt for your tax return?

The average American spends 13 hours preparing their tax return, and is taxed at an average of 31.5% Shouldn't Ameicans receive a detailed itemized receipt of where their tax dollars are going?

Would you support requiring gun owners to carry insurance?

Gun owners should be required to carry insurance !!!! Insurance wasn't required at first for car owners, but when it was found that cars could injure and kill, insurance was required.

Currently, Senators have the ability to have a bill held, without having their name disclosed. If a Senator wants to hold up the people's business, shouldn't the people s know who it is?

What is your position on Minimum mandatory laws?

Minimum Mandatory laws does NOT allow a judge to look at anything - including lack of previous convictions. Florida leads the country for the longest prison terms with an average of 19yrs behind bars

How will you as FL Senator impact the people incarcerated for nonviolent crimes?

Florida has about 50,000 less people in jail than Mexico. 40 percent prison population is incarcerated for nonviolent crimes, and drug offenders accounted for 20 percent of Florida’s prison population

How do you stand on artistic freedom? Do you support artists' rights?

Do you support an artist/musician's First-Amendment right of Freedom of Expression, or do you advocate censorship? I consider Tipper Gore a treasonous, dangerous person whose work must be stopped.

How are gun mfg's liable for non-defect related gun deaths?

Absent mfg defects and when used properly, guns are no more dangerous than, for example, cars. Therefore, gun mfg's should only be liable for deaths resulting from defects, not misuse.

How much money has the US borrowed from Social Security? What's the back plan?

It is one of the largest debts the government has. The debt is unrelated to the SS program but was used pay for unfunded legislation. Cutting services is NOT a way to pay the debt owed 2 SS investors.

Will you support increased funding of basic research?

Basic research is the engine that feeds technological breakthroughs. Basic research funding has been cut in favor of achieving goals and Department of Defense is no longer allowed to fund it.
