Will you as FL-Sen offer tax subsidies or building contracts to Private Prisons?

Marco Rubio is the top recipient in the Senate of contributions from the private prison company GEO Group. As FL-Speaker, GEO was awarded a state government contract for a $110 million prison soon.

Do you support a more accurate method of calculating social security increases?

With the real cost of living increases running at more than 10-20% per year, a better method of calculating actual COLA is badly needed. In addition, a "catch up" increase must also be paid out.

What is your opinion on Florida's stand your ground law?

Murders have increased significantly soon after this law was enacted, so much so, that it is reasonable to state that the law was not correlated with the increase but rather a cause of it.

What do you think about focusing more on critical thinking skills at K-12?

At the college level and in private schools, they focus on critical thinking more than in public schools. College is too late for many and obviously only the affluent can afford private schools.

Would you legalize sex work to promote a safe, consensual environment?

Without this, there will be much higher rates of STDs. Workers will be at the mercy of pimps, prison system, etc. Private, consensual sex between adults should not be criminalized!
